Terms of Service
Effective May 6, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Chambr (“Service”), provided by the Chambr team (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Chambr. We verify age at registration via a date-of-birth gate. Misrepresenting your age is a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate termination.
2. Your Account
Chambr accounts are created with a username and password. We do not collect email addresses for authentication. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the messages, photos, videos, and other content you post (“User Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, translate, and transmit your User Content solely to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any law or third-party right.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You must not, and must not permit others to:
- Upload, transmit, or distribute content that depicts child sexual abuse or exploitation. Such content is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Harass, threaten, dox, or impersonate any person; engage in hate speech; or coordinate harm against others.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages, run scams, distribute malware, or engage in spam or phishing.
- Encourage self-harm or suicide, or share content glorifying violence.
- Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, content moderation, or any security feature.
5. Paid Features
Chambr offers in-app purchases for credits, which can be used for gifts, paid direct-message media, paid room entry, and similar features. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play; their refund policies apply. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
6. Moderation
We may remove content, restrict accounts, or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or to protect users and the Service. Room owners and assigned moderators may also enforce room-specific rules.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time via the in-app Settings → Delete account flow or by visiting chambr.online/delete-account. On termination, certain audit and ledger records are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) USD 50.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or this page. Continued use after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Istanbul, Türkiye.
